hillside pool and terrace transformation

This project involved transforming a steep, unusable hillside into a functional outdoor living space capable of supporting a swimming pool. The property sloped aggressively from the back of the home to the rear of the lot, leaving no naturally flat area for construction. To solve this, we engineered and built a multi-tier retaining wall system to terrace the hill, creating stable, level platforms while properly managing soil pressure and drainage.

With the new grade established, we installed a fiberglass swimming pool and finished the space with a custom paver patio designed for durability, comfort, and clean visual flow. The result is a highly usable backyard that feels intentional and balanced—turning a challenging site condition into a long-term, resort-style outdoor space.
